He is survived by: his wife Barbara Smith; his daughters, Sherry Drake and Shannon Drake; his siblings, Linda Coonrod, Gloria Carmen, Gary Drake (Elizabeth) and James Drake; his pet Max; and his niece April Spink.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Barry Funeral Home (807 W Chestnut St, Rome, NY 13440). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
