She was predeceased by : her parents, William May and Rosetta May (Hutton); her husband Frank Gardner; her son Jay Gardner; and her brother William May.

She is survived by : her son Jack; her daughters-in-law, Mary Kay Gardner and Sherlyn Gardner; her grandchildren, Jennifer Raucci (Joseph), Jacquelyn Cook (Whitney), Jeremy Gardner, Jennifer Gardner and Janet Gardner; and her nephews, Douglas May and Dwayne May (Linda). She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 8th 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Harrisville Christian Church (8252 State Rte 3, Harrisville, NY 13648).
