We are sad to announce that on May 30, 2025, at the age of 87, Marie H. Westcott of Rome, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hammond and Viola Hammond (Parker); her siblings, Jean Elizabeth Wells, Marion Louise Messick, Stella, Madeline, Walter, Paul, Robert, Frederick, Clifford (Bud) and Lawrence Hammond (Larry); and her former husband Frederick H. Westcott, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Brad Westcott (Mary) of Rome, Frederick H. Westcott, Jr. of Rome and Bonnie Folnsbee (Wesley); her grandchildren, William, Paul Nascimento, Stephanie Schlau and Jonathon Houle; her niece Charlotte Whelan (Wells); and her sister Bonnie.
Marie was a private person who did not wish services, with this in mind the family requests that in order to honor her that memorial contributions can be made to the American Humane Society, Humane World for Animals, American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), or any other worthy cause focusing on animal care.
