She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl J. Wendt and Maude L. Sykes Wendt; her husband Richard P. Countryman of Peter's Lutheran Church; her siblings, Marjorie, Karl, Robert, John, Gerald and Ronald; her son Wayne; and her grandson Matthew Katsur.

She is survived by: her children, Bonita Katsur of Burlington, WA, Sheila (Donald Thompson) and Gregg; her daughter-in-law Mary Countryman of Greenville, NC; her grandchildren, Peter Katsur (Trish), Jennifer Sullivan (Adam), Rachel Katsur, Joshua Katsur (Abi), Erik Thompson, Brianna Thompson, Kyle Countryman and Emma Countryman; and her great grandchildren, Andrew Katsur, Liam Sullivan and Hudson Sullivan.
