With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marisa Nizzi of Rome, New York, who passed away on August 9, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emilio Monterastelli and Maria Monterastelli; her husband Leo Nizzi; her grandson John P. Moakler, Jr.; and her siblings, Mario Monterastelli and Rina Lenzini.
She is survived by: her children, Perry Nizzi, Maria Teresa Nizzi Bobell, Jr. (Edward) and Loriana Nizzi Moakler, Sr. (John); her grandchildren, Edward M. Bobell III (Kathleen), Katrina Bobell, Paul Moakler (Taylre), Leo C. Nizzi (Annie) and Marisa Michele Nizzi; and her great grandchildren, Christopher Bobell, Nicholas Bobell, Luca Moakler and Camron Moakler.
