He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaetano Grifasi and Assunta Carletta Grifasi; his wife Sandy; his siblings, James, Richard, Frank "Cheech" Grifasi, Grace Calandra and Marie "Maddy" Giardino; his nephews, Mark James Grifasi and Michael Grifasi; and his siblings-in-law, Joe and Nettie Faro.
He is survived by: his daughter Michele L. Grifasi (Larry Posselt); his sister-in-law Marie Grifasi; his great-niece Kaleigh Grace Kenealy; his nephew Cameron James Kenealy; his great-nephew Mark James Grifasi II; Mark James Grifasi III (Isabella Marie Posselt).
