The passing of Nicoletta M. Powell of Rome, New York leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 24, 2025 at the age of 84. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eustachio Falconio and Agnes Falconio (DiProspero); her brother Major Vincent Falconio (Lawrence W.); and her siblings-in-law, Kenneth F., MaryAnne Powell, Catherine A. and Patrick Lynch.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen A. Powell of New Jersey, Gail E. Powell of Nevada and Kay Hetherington; her grandchildren, Sarah, Nicole, Richelle, Jennifer and Michael; her great grandchildren, Giovanna, Angelo and Mikayla; her friend Marilyn Ouimette; and her siblings, Stachio Anthony Falconio of Rome, Theresa (Rex Nelson) and Deborah Pinti of Rome. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nicholas J Bush Funeral Home (7751 Merrick Rd, Rome, NY 13440). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Church (200 N James St, Rome, NY 13440). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at the St. Mary's Cemetery (1106 W Liberty St, Rome, NY 13440).
