He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Edward E. Powers and Mary Reding Powers; and his wife Carole Rieck Powers. He is survived by: his children, Mary Beth Powers of Rock Point, NY, Cathy O'Neill (Kevin) of Hamburg, NY, Paul Powers (Kelley) of Grafton, MA, Sean Powers (Debbie) of Guilderland, NY and Sheila Burke (John) of Penfield, NY; his grandchildren, Emilie, Sean, Meg, Maura, Caroline, Paul III, Alyce, Sara, Grace, Hannah, Liam and Neil; and his brother-in-law Charles Lupica. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
