With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phillip J. Montalbano Sr. of Rome, New York, who passed away on December 13, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Antoinette (Doria) and Nicasio Montalbano; and his siblings, Anthony Montalbano, Kathleen Montalbano, Michaelena Thompson and Mary Jane Hendrickson.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Sipley; his children, Phillip (Christine), Dino, Michael (Kristine), Maria (Jim), Nicholas and Jeffrey (Tara); his grandchildren, Zachary, Nina, Anthony, Melanie, Camille, Anna, Olivia, Claudia, Nikki, Maya, Emilia and Jacob; his brothers, Nick and Rick Montalbano (Julie); and his sister-in-law Louise Montalbano. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
