He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Pezzula and Doris Pezzula (Lighthall); his former wife Vera Merza; his wife Jill; and his brothers, Frederick and Louis.
He is survived by: his son Neil; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Pezzula; his daughter Melissa Dole; his son-in-law Norman Dole; his grandchildren, Emily Keara Dole (Evan Drozd), Jacob Pezzula, McKenna Pezzula and Ethan Dole; and his brothers, Anthony (Joan Pezzula) and Carmen (Carol Pezzula).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Strong - Burns & Sprock Funeral Home (7751 Merrick Rd, Rome, NY 13440). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at the Lee Valley Cemetery (5271 Lee Valley Rd, Rome, NY 13440).
