He is survived by: his significant other Sandy; his son Mark Simpson (Jennifer); his granddaughter Zoey Simpson; his brothers, Richard Simpson of Rome and Robert Simpson; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Simpson of Blossvale, James Thron (Patricia) of Oneida and Philip Thron of Rome. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
