He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Tharrett and Ida Jane Tharrett (VanAlstine). He is survived by: his significant other Donna Kay Whitton; and his children, Tom (Noeme), JoAnn Wixson (Archie), Rick (Susie) and Judy Tonzi (Chris). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
