Sandy touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Sandy’s presence will be missed, the influence she had on others will remain. Those who knew her will carry forward memories that reflect her character and spirit.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harold Rimiller and Ida Rimiller (Scherz); her brother Ronald Rimiller; her husband Daniel J. Murphy; her daughter Desiree (Samantha); and her granddaughters, Lily and Lottie McGrath. She was also cherished by her husband and children — their best friend.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home (418 N George St, Rome, NY 13440). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Church (1807 Bedford St, Rome, NY 13440).
