He was predeceased by: his father Howard John Sr.; his daughter Tammy Lynn; his siblings, Joan, Agnes Moosman, James and Howard Kirk, Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Emma Jean Bingham and Frank Bingham, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Catherine Bingham; his children, Tina Engle (Ron) of Chicago, IL, Tracy Martins (Santo) of Sacramento, CA, Anthony (Roxanne) of Rome, David (Dalia) of Rome, Joseph Pettinelli (Kim) of Rome and Jeannette Hall (Patrick) of Howes Cave, NY.; his siblings, Lorraine of Lee Center, Andrew of Moira, NY and Robert (Marlene) of Lee Center, NY; and his sisters-in-law, Christine Hammon and Sophie Soltys. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
