He was predeceased by: his parents, Hadley Brown, and Mamie McArthur Brown, Sr.; and his brothers, Jonathan and Phillip Brown. He is survived by: his wife Colleen Brown of Rome; his children, John (Stefanie Ringlehan), Jean Marc (Elizabeth Brown) and Lea; his son-in-law Joshua Rhem of North Carolina; his siblings, Edna Burke, Michael (Gail Brown), Morris (Damaris Brown), Horace Brown, Hadley, Jr. (Heather Brown) and James Brown; his grandchildren, Nicole, Eddie Bentley, Jenna Schlick (Connor), McKenna, Kennedy, Addison, Kendall, Ryan Rhem, Hadley Mae and Sterling Grace Brown; and his friend Steve Mcdonald. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Strong-Burns and Sprock Funeral Home (7751 Merrick Rd, Rome, NY 13440). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home (7751 Merrick Rd, Rome, NY 13440).
