He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bowen and Ruth Sullivan Bowen; his brother Greg; his brother-in-law Chuck Pelano; and his nephew Charlie Pelano.
He is survived by: his wife Diane M. Kohlepp; his daughters, Noelle (Peter C. Manna) and Holly (Robb Bowen Lokker); his grandchildren, Luke, Rachel Lokker, Carolyn and Catherine Manna; his sister Bonnie; his brother-in-law Don Lipkin; his brothers, Jack Bowen, David (Betty Bowen) and Eric (Linda Bowen); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Pelano, Dory and Mark Mulkey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
