The memory of Warren Jones of Rome, New York, who passed away on March 2, 2026 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton Rees and Blanche Biancani Jones; his brothers, Richard and Norman Jones; and his goddaughter Cheryl Bassett.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Eric Jones (April), Sara Swartz (Steven) and Andrew Jones (Heidi); his grandchildren, Sam, Phoebe, Tyler, Paige, Henry and Edward; and his sisters, Marie Duink (Jerry) and Carol Kunkel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (502 W Chestnut St, Rome, NY 13440). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
