With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William E. Portner of Rome, New York, who passed away on May 6, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Portner and Ruth Portner (Neiss). He is survived by: his children, Sandi Stedman, Cathy Smith (Jim), Randy (Brenda), Ronald and William A. (Kathy); his grandchildren, Jason Stedman, Azura Stedman, Sarah Stedman, Josh Smith (Kelly), Cristin Smith (Rainer), Christopher Portner (Misty), Patrick Portner (Donna), William E. Portner (Ramika), Timothy Portner, Katey Portner and Rose Portner (Erik); and his great grandchildren, Owen, Harlan, Max, Amelia, Erik and Alaina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
