It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Poptanich Jr. of Roscoe, New York, who passed away on December 29, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph, Sr. Poptanich and Mildred Thayer Poptanich; and his brothers, Peter and Perry Poptanich. He is survived by: his children, Andrew Poptanich (Leslie) of Roscoe, NY and Stacey Levine (Robert) of Newfield, NY; his grandchildren, Gregory, Annabelle, Danny, Sasha and Sofia; his brother Robin Poptanich (Judith) of Middletown, NY; and his niece Erin.
