It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Deitel of Roslyn Heights, New York, who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Ernest departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Ernest. Though Ernest may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Georgeta; his daughter Diana; and his grandson Allen Nicholas Moldovan.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 10:45 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Nassau Knolls Cemetery (500 Port Washington Blvd, Port Washington, NY 11050-4295).
