Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Ellen Wilcox of Rotterdam Junction, New York, who passed away at the age of 84, on August 12, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Nealon and Catherine Nealon (McManaman); her husband Frank "Skip" Wilcox; her stepsons, Frank "Dave" and Dane Wilcox; her brother Bernard "Bernie" Nealon; and her nephew Brian Nealon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michele Quatroche (Vincent), Karen Jean Gourley (Robert), Kelly Burke-Leaper, Rachel Pollard (Sam) and Darla Bills (David); her grandchildren, Vincent Quatroche (Kara), Brent Bills (Leah), Patrick Wilcox (Amanda), Devin Burke Dinsmore, Jacob Leaper, Matthew Leaper, Cat Dickey (Josh), Boni Quatroche, Robert Gourley and Evangeline Pollard; her great grandchildren, Francine, Fiona and James; and her sisters-in-law, Sandie Nealon and Catherine Wilcox Dean Smith.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St Margaret of Cortona Church (2 Putnam St, Rotterdam Junction, NY 12150). A burial was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at the Saint Joseph Cemetery (100 Kings Rd, Schenectady, NY 12304).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
