He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Phoenix, and Jane Phoenix, Jr.; his grandparents, Ralph, Josephine Phoenix, Sr., John and Alice Hines; his brother Thomas R. Phoenix; his parents-in-law, Vera and George Scott; his brother-in-law John Woods; and his close friends, James Keefe and Paul Hilgendorff.
He is survived by: his caregiver Phyllis Scott Phoenix; his daughters, Kelly Anne (Robert) and Amanda Lynn (Al); his granddaughters, Ashley Elizabeth (Cody) and Lauren Nicole; his sister Nancy Bittner (Fred); and his siblings-in-law, Louise Woods, Pamela Van Etten (Richard) and George Scott, Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Luke's Episcopal Parish (50 William St, Catskill, NY 12414).
