He was predeceased by : his parents, James Hughes and Elsie Louise Hughes (Teitzel); his wife Janice Hughes (Adams); his former life partner Nellie Jordan (Chance); his sons, Brian Hughes and Edward Jordan; and his grandson Cody Hughes-Miranda.
He is survived by : his children, Curtis Hughes, Matthew Hughes, Cindy Pedersen (Hughes), Kimberly Sanchez (Hughes) and Debbie Adair (Jordan). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
