We announce the death of Julie Lafountain of Rouses Point, New York, who passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 66. Julie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell R. Tetreault and Joan Tetreault (Garrand); her parents-in-law, Leon and Marian Lafountain; her brothers-in-law, Bobby and Ricky Lafountain; and her nephew Kyle Lafountain.

She is survived by: her husband Billy Lafountain of Rouses Point; her stepchildren, Holly Lafountain of Plattsburgh, Bobbi Lafountain of Rouses Point and Adam Lafountain of Plattsburgh; her grandson Vox Jude Espinosa of Plattsburgh; her siblings, Brenda Mumley (Michael) of Rouses Point and Jonathan Tetreault (Eric Mundell) of Indianapolis, IN; her brothers-in-law, Jerry Lafountain (Jennifer) of Troy, NY and Randy Lafountain (Nicole) of Rouses Point; her nephew Dan Mumley (Olivia) of St. Albans, VT; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Aubrey, Paisley and Aspen; her nephew Jason Mumley (Jackie) of West Chazy; her nephew Adam Hendrickson of Greenfield, IN; her nieces, Aurora Hendrickson of Greenfield, IN, Gillian Hernandez of Miami, FL, Amy Lafountain of Troy, NY and Megan Lafountain of Troy; her close friend Donna Lafountain; her children, Holly, Bobbi and Adam; her goddaughter Angela Goodspeed (Bushey) of Rouses Point; her aunt Mary H. Tetreault of Plattsburgh; her pets, Jax, Chip and Peanut; Jaxson.
