He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewald O. Blatter and Wilhelmina Blatter (Kimmel). He is survived by: his wife Doris Blatter (Wilcocks); his children, Hans Blatter (Tracey), Robin Egan (Bill) and Nikki Glende (Martin); his grandchildren, Julia Blatter, E. Christian Blatter, Aiden Blatter, Corinne Egan, Kristen Egan, Charlotte Glende, Victoria Glende and Joshua Glende; and his sisters, Tina Blatter and Kathleen Knospe. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in law, nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Hall (3288 E Henrietta Rd, Henrietta, NY 14467). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wild Wood Country Club (1201 Rush West Rush Rd, Rush, NY 14543).
