With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John A. Bond of Rush, New York, who passed away on February 6, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Everett Bond; and his brother Herbert Bond. He is survived by: his sons, Eric Bond of Rush, Brian Bond (Maureen) of Rush and Daniel Bond (Sara) of Fairport; his grandchildren, Alexa, Robyn and Nora; his mother Esther McClain Bond of Nova Scotia; and his sisters, Louise Mackie (Les) of British Columbia and Jane Manuel Young (Joe) of Halifax. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Those wishing may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.

“Dear Bond Brothers, and John’s Mom and siblings and grandchildren, I sent a note earlier and it was rejected. John spent a few summers up in Northern Ontario at our cottage home, fishing, canoeing , cutting wood and jumping from Sauna into the lake . ( I am a Finlander ) .Gord and I were friends of Liz and himself and they even came to visit us in Texas . Think of him often! Hugs Laura and Gord”
