She was predeceased by: her parents, Emilio Grasso and Vincenza Grasso (Chirasella). She is survived by: her children, Thomas McCarthy (AnnMarie) of Brewster, Stephen McCarthy (Jane) of Wappingers Falls, NY, Marie Elena McCarthy (Neil Tanico) of Harrison, NY, Michael McCarthy (Eileen) of Mahopac, NY and Jeannine Tempesta (Thomas) of Rye Brook, NY; her daughter-in-law Lori McCarthy of South Salem, NY; and her sister Elaine Hennessey of Danbury, CT. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Craft Memorial (40 Leicester St, Port Chester, NY 10573). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Church (260 Westchester Ave, Port Chester, NY 10573).
