It is with sadness that the passing of Rocco Lagana of Rye Brook, New York is shared. Rocco, born on May 28, 1931, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Domenico Lagana and Angela Lagana; and his brothers, Giovanni and Franco Lagana. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Dominick Lagana (Sally), Patricia Lepre (Michael) and Sandra Barbieri (Joseph); his grandchildren, Christopher, Caroline, Michael, Rebecca, Matthew, Daniella, James (J. J.), Joseph, Kayla, Robert, Hannah, Marc, Marissa and Juliana; his great grandchildren, Lucia, Francesca, Gino Maximilian and Rocco; and his siblings-in-law, Maria Engongoro (James), Alida Loizzo, Mary Accurso, Giulia Lagana and Isabella Lagana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Craft Memorial Home, Inc. (40 Leicester St, Port Chester, NY 10573). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Church (136 S Regent St, Port Chester, NY 10573).
Memorial donations may be made to the Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
