Anthony Joseph Manto Obituary
We announce the death of Anthony Joseph Manto (Rye, New York), who passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 83. Anthony will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his brother Peter; and his parents, Peter Manto and Anna Manto. He is survived by: his wife Claire; his children, Gina (Mike Turner), Anthony (Amie) and Chrissy (Phil René); his grandchildren, Thomas, Jolene, Matthew, Louis and Rémi; and his brother Joe (Linda).
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Graham Funeral Home (1036 Boston Post Rd, Rye, NY 10580). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Resurrection (910 Boston Post Rd, Rye, NY 10580). He and Claire volunteered in the kitchen at Meals on Main, delivered food to people in their homes during the pandemic, served Thanksgiving dinner at POTS, and unloaded boxes for Helping Hands.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (https://www.alz.org) or the VA Hudson Valley Healthcare System (Montrose).
