It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elinor M. Tripp in Rye, New York, who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elinor M. Tripp to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline Richardson Yarter and Howard B. Yarter; her former husband Robert Henke; her husband William S. Tripp; her grandmother Mema; her brother Leland Yarter; and her grandchildren, Kevin and April Jenkins.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Henke (Janice), Guy Henke (Joanne), Roxanne Jenkins (Larry), Gail Pliscofsky (Ron), William N. Tripp (Tara), Dean Tripp (Margaret) and Jill Tripp (Fran); and her grandchildren, Jennifer Henke, Janet Dandrow (Robert), Robert Henke III (Dina), Leslie Prevost (Steve), Christina Pichler (Heinz), Larry Jenkins II (Melanie), Joshua Jenkins (Lisa), Marsha Darrah (Chuck), Ron Pliscofsky Jr. (Megan), Dean Tripp Jr. (Rachel), Adam Tripp (Bryanna), Nicole Tripp (Kevin) and Ryan Tripp (Brittanie). She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the M. B. Kilmer Funeral Home- Argyle (123 Main St, Argyle, NY 12809). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made to High Peaks Hospice.
