He was predeceased by: his sister Alda Barrington. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; his children, Jacqueline Fryer Chewning of Annandale, Virginia, Robert Fryer (Connie Kostacos) of Cos Cob, Connecticut, John Fryer (Sarah) of New York, NY and James Fryer (Jennifer Sprague) of Phoenix, Arizona.; and his niece Brooke Barrington. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Graham Funeral Home (1036 Boston Post Rd, Rye, NY 10580). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Christ's Church (2 Rectory St, Rye, NY 10580).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Episcopal Academy, Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.
