He was predeceased by : his parents, Alma Wooldridge Gavin and Tom Gavin; his siblings, Maurice, Floyd Gavin, Evelyn Thornton and Eva Dean Tarver; and his granddaughter Sidney Wade.
He is survived by : his daughters, Julie Wade (Steve) of Broken Arrow and Leanda Gavin (Cobi) of Fayetteville; his grandchildren, Kristina Reinschmidt (Adam) of Guthrie Ok, Halle Alvey (Tommy) of Fayetteville, Logan of Broken Arrow, Elliot Wade of Broken Arrow, Connor of Fayetteville, Rowan Shelby of Fayetteville, Evely of Fayetteville and Arlo Gavin-Cogbill of Fayetteville; and his great grandchildren, Hank Reinschmidt of Guthrie, OK and Eden Alvey of Fayetteville.
