With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Thomas (Rye, New York), who passed away on February 16, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Benno Krawielitzki and Dorothea Krawielitzki; and her brother Rolf Schaefer. She is survived by : her husband Alex; her daughters, Gloria Stoddart (Grant) and Monica Knorr (Jerry); her grandsons, Eric and Alex Knorr; her stepgrandchildren, Sarah Dietsch, Caroline Farina and Michael Stoddart; her sister-in-law Hilla Schaefer; her niece Irene Schaefer (Klaus); and her nephew Cristian Schaefer (Petra).

Contributions in her honor may be made to Willow's Wings Animal Sanctuary, Inc., P.O. Box 217, Maine, NY 13802.
