It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arlene Krake of Sackets Harbor, New York, who passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Chapman and Mae Chapman (Picha); and her husband Edgar L. Krake. She is survived by: her sons, James Krake of Aynor and John (Cynthia Krake); her grandchildren, Thomas Krake, Christopher Krake (Joli) and Peter Krake; her great grandchildren, Jadeon, Jordan and Morgan; her brother Robert; and her sister-in-law Mary Chapman of Spartanburg. She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Sackets Harbor Art Center or the Sackets Harbor Fire Department.
