He is survived by: his wife Janet Schell; his children, Robert C Montford (Tori), Douglas Montford (Deborah) and Karen Wegman (Bernard) of Rock Hill, SC; his grandchildren, Robert J., Heather Montford, Gerard Doorty and Meghan Huet (Adam); his sister Mary Honeycutt of Wingate, NC; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Schell, Connie Schell and Joan Schell. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
