He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvia Laytin and Bernard Laytin. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Laytin; his daughters, Charlstie Veith (Laytin), Casey Laytin and Sylvia Laytin; his stepson Tinsman of Nevada; his grandchildren, Harper Wallace, Laytin Veith, Walker Wallace and Lillian Veith; his brother Peter Laytin; and his nephew Alex Laytin. He is also survived by many cousins, extended family members, and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF) in East Hampton, a cause that was so dear to Jeffrey's heart.
