With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Summerfield (Saint James, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 20, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry David's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May David's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elaine Demy and William Summerfield; his stepfather Steven Demy; his brother Daniel Summerfield; his sister-in-law Amanda; and his sibling's children, Mackenzie and Carter.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the St James Funeral Home (829 Middle Country Rd, St James, NY 11780). A prayer was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (65-40 Grand Ave, Flushing, NY 11378).
