He was predeceased by : his mother Joan D Ryan. He is survived by : his children, Jessica, Tara and Gerald Ryan; his siblings, Kevin Ryan (Joanne), Sharon A Ryan and Erin Kozeletz (Phil); his niece Rachel Feis (Matt); and his nephew Travis Kozeletz.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St James Funeral Home (829 Middle Country Rd, St James, NY 11780). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 at 10:15 AM at the Sts. Philip & James RC Church (454 N Country Rd, St James, NY 11780). A burial was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 at the St. James Episcopal Churchyard Cemetery (490 N Country Rd, St James, NY 11780).
