She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Johnson and Helen Johnson (Sheppard); and her siblings, Gordon, Dean, Jack, Norma, Janet and Donna.

She is survived by: her husband David R. Smith; her children, Sharon Davis and Stephen Slaboc; her grandchildren, Amanda, Stephen and Jason Slaboc; and her brother Christopher Johnson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
