It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John P. Wind of Salamanca, New York, born in Olean, New York, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Wind and Hazel Wheeler Wind; his daughter Cindy Wind; his grandsons, Randy Wind and John Wind; and his sister Glenna Whittam.

He is survived by : his children, Jean Brahaney (James) of Rochester, NY, Randy Wind (Leslie) of Olean, NY and Gary Wind of Salamanca, NY; his grandsons, Michael Wind of New Castle, DE and Brian Wind (Traci) of Little Valley, NY; and his great grandchildren, Reece of Little Valley, NY and Rylan Wind of Little Valley, NY.
