We bid farewell to Lloyd Ziemendorf of Sanborn, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 11, 2025 at the age of 92. Lloyd touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhard Ziemendorf and Alma [Wendt] Ziemendorf; his former wife Betty Jane [Schoenthal] Ziemendorf; his grandchild Bryn; and his siblings, William Ziemendorf (Betty), Elizabeth Milleville (Albert), Jane and Roger Ziemendorf.
He is survived by: his wife Sally [Carlson] Knox; his children, David Ziemendorf, Carol, Wunderlich, Donald and Melissa; and his grandchildren, Sara [Joshua] Austin, Lindsay Ward (Trevor), William, Nathan, Austin, Brandon, Aaron and Nicholas Ziemendorf. He is also survived by five great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rhoney Funeral Home, Inc. (5893 Hoover Rd, Sanborn, NY 14132-9215). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
