She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron Patterson and Sarah [Doctor] Patterson; her husband Simon Brascoupe; her son Patrick Brascoupe; and her siblings, Percy Patterson, Ellen Jacobs, Elsie Printup, Lenora Rickard, Edna Groat and George Patterson.

She is survived by: her niece Judy Patterson; her children, Simon (Carol), Clayton (Margaret), Isaac Brascoupe (Rita), Edna Mae Irving (Herbert) and Wanda Brascoupe (Mark Kennedy); her grandson Elijah Szafran; her daughter-in-law Rose-Ann Morris; and her sister Ida Seeloff. She is also survived by 40 grandchildren, many great and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in her name to the Tuscarora Baptist Church.
