Walter R. Blount Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 1, 2025, at the age of 80, Walter R. Blount (Sanborn, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Walter shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Walter farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Blount and Elizabeth Blount (Nipper); and his brother Leroy Blount (late Linda). He is survived by: his wife Sondra Blount (Rafferty); his son James Blount (Marlene); his granddaughters, Abby and Lindsey Blount; and his brother Raymond Blount (late Rita). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
