He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Thomas and MaryHelen Thomas; his brother Dale Thomas; and his father-in-law Joe "Pop" Hoy. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly (Hoy) of Sandy Creek; his children, Kathryn Rios (Bryan), Steven Thomas (Kari) of Pulaski and Eric Thomas (Katelyn) of Lorraine; his siblings, Mary Jane Gibbs (Gordon) of Snellville, GA, Jeffrey Thomas (Deanna) of Sandy Creek and David Thomas (Becky) of Belleville; and his grandchildren, Annabelle, Noah, Scarlett, Whitlee, Weston and Elliana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
