With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Agnes G. Alecca of Saugerties, New York, born in Malden on Hudson, New York, who passed away on November 4, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Schaffer and Agnes Farrell Schaffer; her husband Michael J. Alecca; and her brothers, Jake, Fred, William and Vincent Schaffer.

She is survived by: her close friend William Casal; her son Scott (Jen Reynolds) of Saugerties; her stepdaughter Penny Buck of Saugerties; and her brother Joseph Schaffer of Saugerties. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Family suggests donations in her memory be made to the Saugerties Fire Dept.
