She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Friend and Lillian Friend; her husband Walter; her son John Bannen; and her siblings, Louis Friend, Mary Lou Tolman and Virginia Friend.
She is survived by: her daughter Jean Bannen of Saugerties; and her brother Gerard. She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
