He was predeceased by: his mother Ellen Essig (Ross); and his grandparents, Ed and Elsie Ross. He is survived by: his significant other Anne Talaniec; his stepchildren, Steven Talaniec and Jackie Czaplak (Stanley Czaplak); his siblings, Ellen Bernstein (Bruce Bernstein) and John Essig (Denise Essig); his granddaughters, Kyra, Nancy, Autumn and Meadow; his nephews, Kevin, Corey, Joshua and Steven; his niece Jessica; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aiden, Rachel, Liam and Asher.
Family suggests donations in his memory be made to the RosendaleStreetFestival.org.
