He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward S. McCann and Dorothy C. McCann (Casassa); and his siblings, Donald McCann, Irene Daly and Mary Jane Reichey.

He is survived by: his children, Edward McCann (AnnMarie) of East Northport, NY, Jeff McCann (Kelsey) of Emerson, NJ, Jennifer Malkin (Charles) of Washingtonville, NY, Tara Lamadore (John) of Staatsburg, NY and Brianna McCann of Los Angeles, CA; his sister Cathy Powers of Port St; and his grandchildren, Scarlett, Alanna, Julia, Megan, Calvin and Shea.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Hudson Valley, 80 Washington Street, Suite 204, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
