It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Goodstal of Saugerties, New York, who passed away on June 18, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Goodstal to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Goodstal and Marian Mills Goodstal; and his siblings, Lawrence, Dale Goodstal and Judith Lewocz.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Goodstal; his children, Scott Goodstal (Melanie) of New Orleans, James Goodstal (Adrian) of Grand Rapids, Valerie Crilly (Jack) and Meredith; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Mikesh (John), Ann Marie Sylvester (Dan), Lance Sylvester, Drew Sylvester, Annabel Goodstal and Beatrice Goodstal.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dutch Reformed Church of Saugerties and the Hudson Valley Hospice.
