We announce the death of Iquabal Mohamed of Saugerties, New York, who passed away on July 14, 2026, at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, Noor Mohamed and Rasulan Mohamed (Khan); his siblings, Zida Sanchez, Afzal Mohammed and Nasir Mohamed; and his sister-in-law Marianne Frisbie.

He is survived by: his siblings, Taslima Maharaj, Zelina Mohamed, Acklima Ali, Kamal Mohamed and Aftab Mohamed; and his friends, Frank Marquit and Dorothy Dodig. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
